Meet Joe Stoffey
Green Eco Solutions’ Founder / President
Joe Stoffey, the owner of Green Eco Solutions, remembers when he bought his first house how vulnerable he felt when it came to upgrading his home with contractors. He didn’t know much about product specification or even which products to buy, so he felt very in the dark during the whole process.
Joe expressed interest in learning more about the home contracting industry from his father-in-law who has a business in the field. Since Joe was pretty handy his father-in-law agreed and Joe took some vacation time from work to make the most of the opportunity.
He called and met with customers, installed products, and visited manufacturers to better understand the products he would be offering. Joe recalls the experience as pivotal:
“I knew this was for me. Over time when I revisited those homeowners, I learned that some who bought quality products still had high heating and electric bills. That’s when I decided to study the connection between house systems and energy conservation.”
Joe started his home improvement business with one employee almost 30 years ago when he personally performed the measuring, service, and installation. Since then he has earned numerous certifications, including specializations in residential roofing and energy efficiency. With his expertise the company has grown to serve Pennsylvania and New Jersey, providing the Benefits of Energy Saving Technology to thousands of homeowners.

Company History
In 1988 Joe opened a small office with one employee. He made energy-saving home improvement his mission, earning certifications as Owens Corning Energy Expert and Home Energy Professional (HEP) Energy Auditor from the Building Performance Institute (BPI), supported by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and Association of Energy Service Professionals membership.
Green Eco Solutions continued to grow and now boasts over 40 employees, some who have been with the company for over 20 years.
Joe’s ongoing commitment to helping homeowners make informed decisions that benefit their homes, the environment, and the local economy allow him to provide much-needed jobs for the Lehigh Valley.
